This project is aimed at measuring the outcomes of innovative research projects, which are clearly distinguished for their technological and clinical aspect. In particular, the project intends to estimate direct and indirect benefits regarding articular prosthesis and their usage. The above said objective will be reached through applying various and specific impact factor indices, particularly those pertaining patients’ lifestyle, social costs and healthcare costs.
The aim of this project is to evaluate the impact of some new solutions regarding articular prosthesis, which are more clinical effective and are able to reduce surgery risks. A final result would be to enhance and boost Tuscan firms competitiveness, by applying modern measurement techniques to their high technological products, so as to support their decision in terms of production, healthcare effectiveness, etc.

Economics - Health economics
Candidates should be experts in Economics, Statistics and, most important, in economic and social performance measurement. In particular, candidates should be aware of cost-benefits analysis and will aply it to the area of disable people help. The objective will be to verify social costs and benefits perceived by the users, applying ad hoc indicators (quality Adjusted Life Years or Healthy Years Equivalent).
The competition will be carried out by an evalutation of titles and examination, by means of an interview
