Development of an atomic gravimeter based on Sr atoms and fundamental physics tests

Please note that the job is no longer active!

Within the European project iSense, the objective of this research is the development of new interferometric techniques that can improve the sensitivity of the atomic sensor for the measurement of g in order to perform experiments that test fundamental physical theories such as general relativity ("equivalence principle ") and the theory of the electromagnetic field of the vacuum (" Casimir effect "), or to improve the understanding of important physical quantities such as the ratio h / m that has relevance to metrology for the redefinition of the kilogram.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
