THE BORGO MEDIEVALE OF TURIN. Research lines and analysis for an Environmental Museum System - Rif. 391/2012

The annual program aims to coordinate and implementate strategic action of the Borgo Medievale, as museum, to identificate the institutions to be involved in the creation of an Environmental Museum System and to focus a project team. The program is a portion of a vision of activity extended over several years, which aims to joint a Plan of Development of cultural systems for historic parks, based on the “system-Science-Culture Communication” to manage the tourists flows.

The purpose is to define a possible "environment museum model " with its mission in conservation and communication, based on the Borgo Medievale of Valentino’s multiple and complex experiences. The expected results will allowe the use of a specific environmental museum model for the city of Turin and the experiment with new managing and cultural models available for other towns -Italian and foreign- characterized by historic parks.
