Electrical drives with Permanent Magnet synchronous machines and Doubly fed induction machines for application in the field of renewable energy. Analysis of isolated electrical microgrids.
Please note that the job is no longer active!
The program consists in the analysis of drives based on Permanent Magnet innovative Synchronous Machines and/or on innovative Doubly Fed Induction Machines, for applications in the field of renewable energy.
Just as an example, the research activity will include some of the following topics:
- design and characterization of permanent magnet synchronous machines equipped with concentrated windings, for direct drive wind energy applications;
- control of doubly fed induction machines, with particular reference to sensorless control techniques, analysis of new conversion topologies for the interface with the network, control in presence of mains faults;
- special attention will be devoted also to the aspects of modeling and control of parallel connected electronic converters and/or converters connected in parallel with a power mains (i.e. the national electric system).
Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
