Analysis of experimental data from tests on passenger cars aiming at estimating the tyre inflation pressure - Rif. 386/2012

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The research aims at developing a method to estimate the tyre inflation pressure from measured wheel angular velocities.

Experimental data have to be filtered and elaborated in order to identify the frequency shifts correspondent to inflation pressure variations.

The activities will be focused on the definitions of the limits of the algorithms, on the dependence on parameters such as load, wear, road texture, etc. for different tyres on various road surfaces.

Moreover it will be requested to establish, at statistical level, the ability of the algorithm to distinguish between different pressure levels and to evaluate its resolution, accuracy and robustness.

Finally, the algorithm should be tested on normal road tests (Real World Usage Profile) and adapted for automatic code generation; finally it will be verified respect to autosar compliance.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
