The research program includes the following activities: Synthesis of cytotoxic gold compounds following classical methods of preparative inorganic chemistry; Characterization of the obtained products by means of the standard analytical procedures; (elemental analysis, MS, NMR, FT-IR); Design and synthesis of new compounds; Analysis of the Behavior in solution by means of NMR spectroscopy; Studies of reactivity with small molecules, proteins and nucleic acids by spectrophotometric, 1H-NMR, and MS measurements; Crystallization studies and resolution of the structure by X-ray diffraction methods
