Fellowship posted by Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (06/12/2012 02.35)

Emergy analysis of biofuel production from dedicated crops and lignocellulosic residues, for use in Molten Carbonate Fuel Cells

Please note that the job is no longer active!

Molten Carbonate Fuel Cells are high temperature fuel cells generally fueled with methane. This is possible due to an internal reforming system that uses a fraction of the cogenerated heat in order to separate Hydrogen from Carbon.Since methane is not a renewable fuel, research activities towards use of biofuels as renewable replacement of fossil fuels are in progress. In particular, bioethanol, biogas, syngas and landfill gas have been tested by means of suitable reformers in order to assess their suitability as hydrogen sources

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
