Identification of production strategies for hydrocarbon reservoirs - Ref. 367/2012

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The research is aimed at assessing the efficiency of the application of electromagnetic waves in heavy oil reservoirs through the development of a magnetic, thermic and dynamic coupled simulator for the description of the fluid flow in porous media. The heating of the reservoir to decrease the oil viscosity will be verified. To this extent different approaches in numerical simulation will be investigated; then, adequate tools will be designed and implemented. These tools will be validated against the data available in the technical literature and, when possibile due to the simplicity of the analyzed cases, also against the results provided by existing commercial simulators.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
