The political economy of well being, poverty and inequality. An international comparative analysis

1. The theoretical micro-foundations of choice theory based on Amartya Sen's Capability Approach.
2. The theoretical foundations of poverty measurement criteria based on Amartya Sen's approach: from theory to the construction of "multi-dimensional" indicators of well being, poverty and inequality.
3. A review of the international empirical literature on well being, poverty and inequality.
4. The empirical analysis of different case studies (countries) using the indicators constructed above and the comparison with existing results
