EPSRC PhD Project Studentship in Mathematics / Physics Underpinning Quantum Computing

Please note that the job is no longer active!

This is an EPSRC funded project with the aim of investigating the algebraic, geometrical and physical underpinnings of Quantum Computation. The eventual aim is to facilitate the development of viable quantum computers, but the objective is to develop general mathematical modelling frameworks for the various components. This is expected to involve areas such as geometrical representation theory, topological systems (such as topological insulators), category theory and quantum geometry....
