European Research Council funded fellowship Ultrafast Spectroscopy in Photoactive Biomolecules

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The successful candidate will conduct research using our pump and probe setup with femtosecond time resolution. Applications range from visible absorption spectroscopy to vibrational spectroscopy (Stimulated Resonance Raman Scattering) to address intermediates in biomolecules and heme proteins to Stimulated Brillouin Scattering to study picosecond dynamics in crystalline and amorphous materials.

Candidates with hands on background in linear and non-linear optics, are encouraged to apply. Previous experiences with ultrafast lasers and/or resonance Raman spectroscopy and/or transient absorption and/or biochemistry of heme-proteins and/or phonon dynamics are highly appreciated.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
