To apply http://www.unige.it/concorsi/assricerca/ Development of an autonomous system for the detection of leakage from underwater pipes (Automatic Leak Detection - ALD). Detection is based on the analysis of acoustic emissions at short range from the leakage. Starting from an existing acoustic sensors system, already in use for leak detection and operated from a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), it is required to design a completely autonomous system to be installed on board of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV), by embedding the appropriate electronics (including DSP boards or similar devices) into the existing acoustic system and the navigation system on board the vehicle
