To further the education and improvement of PhD candidates of the university, the Università Commerciale “Luigi Bocconi” of Milan, announces a competition by exams and academic titles for the conferral, by means of an appropriate contract, of 10 research grants with the following characteristics:
Location: the PhD School of Università Bocconi
in the scientific areas covered by PhDs offered at the university

Only PhD candidates who are enrolled in their final year at Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, are allowed to participate in the competition.
This statutory pre-requisite must be in place at the deadline for the presentation of applications determined by the present announcement.
Candidates may obtain a conditional acceptance. At any time, the administration can arrange, with reason, exclusion from the selection procedure due to the lack of necessary pre-requisites.
Relations (up to the fourth degree of kinship) to any professor in the PhD School Council, the University Rector, the Director General or any members of the University Board are not allowed to apply.
The competition will be carried out by an evaluation of titles and examination, by means of an interview.
The Committee can allocate a maximum of 100 points for each candidate:
- 80 points for the evaluation of titles
- 20 points for the evaluation by interview
Candidates will be informed the interview date by e-mail. The interview can also be carried out via conference call.
The Committee will take into account the reference letters presented as part of the points for the evaluation of titles.
At the end of the assessment, the Committee formulates a final judgement for each candidate and creates a ranking in descending order on the basis of the score obtained, thereby assigning research grants to winning candidates.
