Landskrona in Sweden is training more workplace experts to improve working conditions
The Swedish city of Landskrona is using ESF co-funding to build better collaborative relationships with socially committed companies that put their staff at the centre of their activities. To do this, the city’s Competence Forum is organising more training sessions aimed at key people – ‘Workplace ambassadors’. The objective is to boost internal discussions on attitudes, values, gender, culture and diversity by arming the ambassadors with the skills to lead company efforts to connect better with their workforces. For example, they do this by developing in-house abilities to recognise early signs of illness among staff and develop good rehabilitation practices.
