ESF helps to finance scientific and medical research in Prague

The city of Prague is using its ESF operational programmes for adaptability and competitiveness to give scientific research a boost. One example is the ČVUT Assistance Centre for Research and Development for Cooperation with Industry, which focuses on building cooperation between industry and universities. Another project has helped to build the Centre for Foetal Medicine, which in turn is supporting the establishment of the first Foetal Surgery Centre. Generally, these initiatives combine ESF funding with finance from other sources for infrastructure including scientific and medical equipment.
