In Spain young business students are being encouraged to set up for themselves as commercial agents
In the city of Ciudad Real the School for Commercial Agents is using ESF funding to encourage young students to consider setting up as self-employed intermediaries and agents in the private sector. Under the banner ‘Make up your own future’ participants take part in a range of lectures and workshops, including on market research and legal matters, presented by experts and entrepreneurs. They are then helped to write their own business plans which form part of their final year project. The project is supported by local business innovation and young entrepreneurs organisations.
