A Spanish region gives local entrepreneurship a boost with tailored advisory services on how to develop bright ideas
Over 3600 potential entrepreneurs in the Spanish region of Castilla-La Mancha were helped with their business ideas in 2013 thanks to the Emprende+más project. From the early planning stage all the way through to implementing ideas and managing their companies, the project focused on providing made-to-measure support services for the different stages in conceiving, launching and running a business.
Co-funded by the ESF, the project is managed by the Regional Confederation of Entrepreneurs (CECAM) and other local business organisations. And from among the participants, over 1000 went on to develop their ideas into commercial projects.
