Saxony sees ESF funding making a significant contribution to growth
EU funding is benefiting thousands of jobs and projects in Saxony announced the economy ministry in May. Since 2007, the German Land has seen more than 18 000 jobs secured with money from European funds such the ESF, and has created around 4 800 new jobs. Already, more than 270 000 people have participated in projects for education and employment.
"The EU funding programs are contributing a significant proportion of the healthy economic development in the State," said Saxony‘s Economy Minister Sven Morlok.
