A new ESF-funded project sets up an extensive network to offer families tailored support.
This new project in Trebisacce, Italy, is built around families’ needs: it offers a personalised support that helps them to overcome poverty and gradually regain autonomy.
Once families apply for this assistance, social services proceed with the selection based on a specific assessment of their needs. In order to participate, the chosen families are asked to sign a pact of mutual assumption of responsibilities and commitments.
Then the network becomes accessible to the families. It includes local services such as employment centres, health services and schools, as well as other third sector business and social partners. It offers activities ranging from training and job search coaching to prevention and health protection.
The project is funded by the European Social Fund, with a total budget of EUR 1.5 million.
