In the Italian Alps young people are getting a helping hand to enter the regional job market
The Italian Province of Trentino is launching an €8 million ‘Youth Guarantee’ project to ensure that young people between 15 and 29 who are not working or studying get job opportunities. Job placements, internships and apprenticeship support are all on offer once a young applicant has signed up.
The provincial government hopes the guarantee scheme will help better align young people’s skills with the Trentino labour market’s needs by offering targeted career guidance and training as well as incentives for potential employers. The ESF is co-financing the project.
