The ESF in Estonia is helping SMEs to make work environments healthier and safer
Estonian SMEs and self-employed people can now get financial help to analyse and measure risk factors in their work environments arising from sources such as noise and vibration levels and dust and chemicals. So far some 45 SMEs have signed on to this ESF initiative.
According to Ülle Luide, a manager at the project promoter Foundation Innove, “The long-term aim of the measure is to reduce work-related health risks for employees, like accidents at work and occupational diseases”.
The project is funded under the Estonian ESF programme for the improvement of the quality of working life.
