Young Polish hoteliers obtain international certificates in Portugal thanks to an ESF project
Eighteen university students from the Polish city of Koszalin have just received vocational certificates in tourism after completing apprenticeships in Portugal. As part of their studies, they worked in four hotels in different parts of Lisbon, gaining valuable experience during 6-7 hour-long daily shifts. Apart from mastering their chosen profession, they also had the chance to get to know Lisbon and travel around Portugal, practising the Portuguese language skills they picked up as part of their training. Their certificates are recognised across the EU and will help them become more mobile and employable.
