A new Youth Centre in Croatia is acting as a central starting point for young jobseekers
On 31 July the Croatian Employment service in Zagreb opened a Youth Centre to prepare young people for employment. The Centre offers youth career planning and introductions to employers among other activities.
At the opening ceremony, the Minister of Labour and Pensions, Dr. Mirando Mrsić, pointed out that the Centre will help increase employment possibilities for Croatian youth and that the state grants for this purpose will be supplemented by both the funds from the European Social Fund as well as from the Youth Guarantee Fund. The new Youth Centre is a central point for providing existing and new services for intermediation in employment and professional orientation for young Croatians.
