29/11/2017 – 01/12/2017 This three-day event, organised in Brussels by the European Commission and the European Investment Bank, will focus on the use of financial instruments under the European Structural and Investment Funds in order to support investments in a wide range of sectors, such as SMEs, energy efficiency, urban development and research & development.
The fi-compass platform will provide information sessions and interactive workshops covering case studies from across the EU, relevant market practices, and the European Commission's Regulatory Guidance for the implementation of financial instruments under ESIF programmes. In particular, two case studies on the use of financial instruments under the ESF will be presented: the National Fund for Social Entrepreneurship (Poland) and the Entrepreneurship Promotion Fund 2014-2020 (Lithuania). Managing authorities and other involved stakeholders will be able to share their experience of the implementation of financial instruments in different Member States and regions across the EU.
Following the presentations, parallel round table discussions will allow all practitioners to network and exchange best practices in order to learn how to address common challenges and deliver more European Structural and Investment funding through financial instruments.
The deadline for registration is Wednesday, 15 November 2017.
A detailed agenda of all advisory events can be found on the fi-compass official website.
