Thanks to an ESF-funded project, people with disabilities are opening a café in the Czech region of Carlsbad.
In times of high unemployment it is already hard enough to find a job – for people with disabilities it is even harder. So why not create a job for yourself? That was the idea of a Czech project that aims to generate a total of 11 part-time jobs for people with disabilities.
The café is set to open next November, and the participants are eagerly looking forward to working independently. Until then, they receive advice and practical training. Once the project is finished, the participants should make enough money to cover their salaries and expenses.
