Romania opens a call centre for job-seekers with ESF support
Thanks to an ESF project to be completed in August, the Romanian Public Employment Service now has a new call centre for providing information and guidance to job-seekers over the phone, thereby increasing the quality and efficiency of its services. Rather than queuing at a public employment office, job-seekers are now a phone call away from information on job opportunities in Romania and abroad, job fairs, training opportunities, and legislation.
To ensure a high level of service, six workshops were organised to equip the staff with the relevant skills. The testing and calibration phase has been successfully completed, and the call centre is now ready for full-time operation.
