In Belgium, a successful employment association is helping job-seekers in difficult times
In the Belgian Ardennes, the Integra Plus association has just appointed a new executive board to take its work forward. Integra Plus is active in the field of employment and social insertion, helping job-seekers with coaching, job searching and training.
Set up in 2002 at the instigation of the social service departments from five local towns, the social enterprise has since helped many hundreds of job-seekers – 500 in 2012 alone. “Our aim is to guide people in their job searches and training choices,” explains Christiane Rulot of Integra Plus, who emphasises the need to be creative and innovative to find solutions in times of uncertainty.
