The Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture (EAFA) in Bulgaria is carrying out two ESF-funded projects to improve administrative quality management and its employees’ professional qualifications.

On 7 August 2014, the Commission adopted the Partnership Agreement with Bulgaria, paving the way for around €1.5 billion (current prices) in European Social Fund (ESF) funding in the next seven years - a 20% increase compared to the previous period.
