Financial instruments under the ESF can play a key role in increasing the resources available and addressing new social challenges.
Managing authorities can boost the impact of ESF resources by deploying more financial instruments when delivering European structural funds to support projects on the ground. However, there is a lack of experience using these instruments and specifically many ESF stakeholders requested the provision of capacity building services in order to make best use of financial instruments in the future.
In order to help ESF managing authorities with the preparation and implementation of financial instruments under the European Social Fund, the fi-compass platform offers a wide range of services. According to their specific needs, managing authorities will be able to choose between initial or advanced capacity building modules.
For more detailed information on the scope and duration of the assignments, see the fi-compass online brochure.
