Registrations are growing for the ‘Second Chance Schools’ initiative in Greece

The Second Chance Schools (SDE) initiative is an innovative lifelong learning programme from the Greek Ministry of Education supported by the ESF. Intended for individuals of 18 years and older who have only primary school leaving certificate levels of education, the project involves a public school that offers training to baccalaureate level to improve the employability and social inclusion of its graduates. Teaching covers many subjects, from languages and maths to computers and career counselling, and its approach is from the adult-learning perspective, focusing on active participation.
