In the Midi-Pyrénées region in France, the ESF is helping young women entrepreneurs to join the social economy
The Mond’Echange Association in France is a social enterprise committed to voluntary work and social solidarity – with a strong European flavour and a focus on young people and international mobility. With ESF funding, the Toulouse-based association is launching a new project called SocialCREA aimed at young women under 30 years old to help them set up their own activities and enterprises in the social economy field. The project involves a workplace-based training course – covering a range of management skills – which will support those with low skills and help participants overcome obstacles to employment. The project then guides the participants in setting up on their own, creating business plans and acquiring finance.
