Professional development of staff

Demo project "The Model for Establishing the System of Accreditation of the Programme for Continuing Professional Development of VET Teachers", implemented by Agency for Pre-primary, Primary and Secondary Education in BIH (APOSO), with the support of ETF, aims to contribute to strengthening the capacity of relevant institutions in the field of continuing professional development (CPD) of VET teachers.


SUNY Empire State College (USA) is organising free webinar series on the topic of revisioning adult higher education. The webinars are taking place on three Mondays in June with three internationally-known presenters. The webinars are open to everyone to join and discussion will focus on issues of adult access to learning opportunities, the realities of diversity, and policies that shape adult learning participation.

Education at all levels is a key part of the integration process for migrants. Adult learning is crucial for migrants as they may require different skills from those that they used in their countries of origin for their new careers. It can also help equip people working with migrants with intercultural awareness and competences, easing the integration process for everyone involved.

The conference "Occupational standards as quality assurance for teachers and educators " was held on March 30th 2017 in Banja Luka.

The conference was organized within the activities of  Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska in the project "Development of Qualifications Framework for General Education", funded by the European Union. The conference targeted one of the project components – component three: Education and professional development of teachers and educators.

Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Republic of Srpska in cooperation with GIZ - Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit , within EU ProLocal programme, organized a training for companies in the field of wood processing manufacture, called ''Modern manufacturing techniques of wood bonding ''. The training was held on March 14th 2017, in hotel City, Prnjavor.

The lecturer was Sir Christian Kaupert - wood processing ingineer and there were more than 30 participants – representatives of different companies.
