Stakeholder consultations

A number of dedicated stakeholder consultations for all related and interested stakeholders were organized during the preparation of the proposal for the EIP-Water. The aim was to ensure a bottom-up approach for a solid feedback and understanding of the needs and interests of all involved actors. The consultation procedure has delivered input for the communication on the EIP-Water.

Member State Consultation for the European Innovation Partnership on Water

DG ENV organised a Member State consultation on 6 July 2011 in Brussels to start the discussion on the proposal for a candidate EIP-Water. The objective of the consultation was to examine the structure, governance and implementation of the proposal. A wide variety of Environment attachés and Research & Innovation attachés of the Permanent Representations of the Member State attended the consultation.

 

1st Stakeholder Consultation for the European Innovation Partnership on Water

The first stakeholder consultation on EIP Water was organised on 20 October 2011 in Brussels with a view to collecting the opinions of stakeholders on the proposal for a candidate EIP-Water. Around 100 stakeholders with a wide variety of backgrounds attended the consultation. Please find all the documents of the consultation meeting below:

 

Workshop co-operation with European Technology Platforms for the candidate EIP-Water

A workshop on 15 December 2011 was specifically targeted at the relevant European Technology Platforms (ETPs), to discuss existing innovative solutions, develop a prioritization of areas in which innovative solutions need to be developed and identify where the activities of the ETPs and the EIP-Water can support each other. Also the optimal governance model for the EIP Water was being discussed. All interested ETP representatives were invited to present their ideas and views on the EIP consultation document on what they consider as priority areas where innovative solutions are needed. 2nd Stakeholder Consultation for the European Innovation Partnership on Water

The second stakeholder consultation to further develop the EIP on Water was organised on 1 February 2012 in Brussels. Around 200 stakeholders with variety of backgrounds attended the event and the discussion was also available online via web streaming here. Please find all the related documents below:
