Each year or every two years Member States have to report to the Commission on the achievement of the collection, re-use, recycling and / or recovery targets for certain waste streams such as packaging waste, waste electrical and electronic equipment, and end-of-life vehicles. The reports are sent 18 months after the end of the reporting period. A summary of the results for years 2006 and 2007 can be found in the Commission's Flash Report. All data are published by Eurostat here.
