Environmental Compliance Assistance Programme for SMEsSmall, Clean and Competitive

This database includes a range of some of the best examples of projects aiming to improve the environmental performance of SMEs, chosen based on the quality of the initiatives, their effectiveness and transferability to other areas, as well as to ensure a variety of types of projects. They show what is being done at both national and regional levels in EU Member States and further afield. There are six main types of services – passive information tools (e.g. websites and campaigns); active/direct support and advice (e.g. helpdesks, on-site visits); training projects; networking approaches; economic and market incentives; and voluntary schemes. Furthermore, the database can be searched on the basis of country, sector and type of funding.

Currently the database contains 30 case studies. New cases will be added gradually.
