| In support of SEIS: The WISE Project |
The WISE Project has created a central location with geographically-mapped information on water-related issues for the European region. The WISE Technical Group is led by the European Environment Agency, with the help of the "Spatial Data Infrastructures Unit" of JRC, and it coordinates the technical aspects of the implementation of the project.
The WISE-RTD Association was launched to manage the comprehensive disclosure of existing scientific and technical knowledge with direct relevance to Water Framework Directive (WFD) implementation and all other water-related directives and guidelines.
The WISE-RTD system is the central portal for water related research and project. It provides easy access to information linked to the WFD implementation tasks.
