Zero Waste Europe Annual meeting

Zero Waste Europe (ZWE) is a European coalition bringing together organisations and municipalities committed to working to eliminate waste in Europe. ZWE is part of the international organisation GAIA and the Zero Waste International Alliance (ZWIA).
On 31 January and 2 February, zero waste groups from all over Europe will have an internal meeting to prepare the working plan for 2014.
On 1 February, more than 300 people will attend the International Conference, a public event: ‘Waste prevention and better management’.
The conference programme consists of topics covering waste challenges in France and Ile de France; the alternative: Zero Waste; zero waste best practices in municipalities; good practices in organic waste management; and the official launch of Zero Waste France.
An exhibition with stands from associations and companies will be held in the hall of the Hotel de Ville until 8pm. From 6pm, there will be a screening of the film ‘Trashed’, which stars Jeremy Irons.
