With global populations forecast to increase rapidly, the link between water, food and energy is gaining in prominence and shortages or wastage in any of them cannot be addressed individually. Three debates – water for food; food and water for energy; and energy for water – will be followed by a panel discussion on how to achieve inter-connected action.
Panel members include Professor Sir Gordon Conway from the Centre for Environmental Policy at Imperial College, London, Usha Rao-Monari, Global Head for Water at the International Finance Corporation, and Camilla Toulmin, Director of the International Institute for Environment and Development.
