The 12th conference on applied knowledge of water-soil management systems, AquaConSoil 2013, will provide a platform for scientists, businesses and policy makers to discuss and explore the latest developments within water management. AquaConSoil 2013 is organised by Germany’s Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) and Deltares, the Dutch institute for applied research in the field of water, subsurface and infrastructure. Conference themes include using functions of soil-water systems; soil and water resource management in water scarcity regions; assessment and monitoring; solid and water remediation technologies; and sustainable concepts and policies.
Speakers for this event include Kevin Leahy (Environmental Resources Management, UK), Jonathan Smith (Shell Global Solutions, UK), Thomas Ternes (Federal Institute of Hydrology, DE), and Josef Kobza (Soil Science and Conservation Research Institute, SK).
