The broadcast, which will take place from 06.00 UTC to 18.00 UTC, is divided into different sessions and will consist of panel discussions, industry-focused debates, and an interactive question and answer session for the online audience. Accenture will also run sustainability innovation workshops at different locations around the world, which will connect with the live broadcast to join the debate at scheduled times.
Many of the sessions are particularly relevant to the resource efficiency theme, including China’s innovative action towards resource scarcity, the opportunities associated with a ‘circular economy’ and the value of a sustainable supply chain to business. Other sessions will cover issues such as sustainable energy in emerging markets, addressing global food challenges and sustainable cities.
