Topics covered during the conference include worldwide takeback schemes; WEEE recast and E-scrap recycling standards, compliance and controls; strategic metals recycling methods for platinum group metals and rare earth elements; recycling E-waste containing hazardous elements; and the theft and illegal export of materials. The conference will also look at the challenges of collection, logistics and the best available recycling technologies. Panel discussion topics include ‘free trade, fair trade or no trade’.
