Forests are undeniably crucial components of the world environment, health and the economy. However, they are under huge threat from unsustainable deforestation and the intensifying impacts of climate change.

The Summit will discuss the outlook for forests by 2030, focusing on what we will be using them for, and whether issues such as deforestation and biodiversity will have been dealt with. Additionally, the role of forests in mitigating climate change and their vulnerability to global warming, how business models can adapt to use the resource more efficiently and the future of various financial mechanisms to manage forest resources, will all feature in discussions.
