During June 2014: Worldwide
EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), an initiative of the European Commission, first took place in 2006. Today, it is coordinated by the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME), in close cooperation with the European Commission’s Directorate-General (DG) for Energy. EUSEW showcases activities dedicated to energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions from around Europe. It is designed to spread best practices, inspire new ideas and build alliances to help meet the EU’s energy and climate goals. Read more…
Not-for-profit Energy Days are local events that have been held across Europe during EUSEW to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy. They can be any kind of activity, including presentations, workshops, exhibitions, concerts or displays. This year, Energy Days can be organised during the entire month of June 2014.
Every year, hundreds of Energy Day organisers across Europe and beyond join the EUSEW with their local event. To organise your own event, register here.
In addition to the multitude of events, a 3-day High-Level Policy Conference (HLPC) will take place from Tuesday 24 to Thursday 26 June 2014 in Brussels. There will be 30 sessions dedicated to sustainable energy that will be open to the public. Online registration is mandatory and will be possible through this website from 12 May to 8 June 2014.
