Eco-Innovera, a network of 25 organisations that supports research and dissemination of information in the area of eco-innovations, will be holding a half-day workshop as part of the 2014 Hannover Messe exhibition, a major trade fair for industrial technology, showcasing the latest industrial trends, products and innovations. The event is free to Hannover Messe participants and will include a variety of presentations and discussions. Read more…
The workshop will focus on the shift in eco-innovation policy towards 'systems innovation'. It will cover the political drivers for eco-innovation and will feature six presentations on how companies have successfully introduced eco-efficient products and services to the market. The event will also include an overview of the research carried out by the Eco-Innovera network on promoting eco-innovation in the European Union.
Eco-Innovera is supported by organisations managing research programmes in 20 countries and regions across Europe, as well as Turkey and Israel. The network aims to support research in the field of eco-innovation, including innovative and environmentally friendly technologies, processes and products.
