This year’s event will focus on a number of topics including air pollution in cities, air quality and climate/meteorology interactions, environmental and health impacts of air pollution, air quality forecasting, and transport-related emissions and their impact on air quality. Sessions will feature a mix of oral presentations and posters. Networking sessions and an exhibition space will also be available to delegates, where they will have the chance to meet and discuss latest developments with other scientists, policy makers and companies specialising in air quality.
A limited number of bursaries were made available to young researchers through the event sponsors. This will give scientists under 35 years of age a chance to attend the conference and present their work, using a poster or oral presentation, to a large audience. Older applicants may also be considered if funds are available.
Registration for the event is now open and an ‘early bird’ fee will be offered until Monday 10 February 2014. The full conference programme will be available nearer the conference date.
