European Resources Forum

10 - 11 November 2014: Berlin, Germany

The German Federal Environment Agency (UBA) has announced that the second European Resources Forum (ERF) will be held in Berlin during November 2014. The conference follows on from the first ERF, also held in Berlin last year, which attracted more than 400 participants from over 40 countries, including more than 40 high-level keynote speakers. EU Sustainable Energy Week

During June 2014: Worldwide

EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), an initiative of the European Commission, first took place in 2006. Today, it is coordinated by the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME), in close cooperation with the European Commission’s Directorate-General (DG) for Energy. EUSEW showcases activities dedicated to energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions from around Europe. Waste Management 2014: 7th International Conference on Waste Management and the Environment

The International Conference on Waste Management and the Environment is organised every two years by the Wessex Institute of Technology (WIT). Save the Planet – the South-East European Exhibition and Conference on Waste Management, Recycling and Environment

The 13th International Electronics Recycling Congress (IERC) will be taking place from January 22 to 24, 2014 in Salzburg, Austria. IERC is the international platform for developments relating to worldwide Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). European Innovation Partnership on Raw Materials Annual Conference 2013

5 December 2013: Brussels, Belgium 

The European Innovation Partnership on Raw Materials (EIP RM) will be hosting its Annual Conference on 5 December 2013 in Brussels. The aim of the conference is to present the EIP RM Strategic Implementation Plan along with the guidelines for the Call for Commitments and some concrete examples of possible commitments. The conference also aims to provide information about possible financial instruments to support the ‘Raw Materials Commitments’, and foster networking and prepare the ‘Raw Materials Commitments’. COBALT FP7 Opening Conference

The Directorate General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) is launching 14 new research and demonstration projects in the field of resource efficiency. A Joint Kick-off Meeting Resource Efficiency for the successful applicants is being held in Brussels on 5-6 November 2013.
