Consultant's study

A study was carried out by an independent consultant, BiPRO GmbH.

As required by the Commission's methodology BiPRO developed a "Policy Option Paper" where several options for potential measures were outlined in view of testing their impacts in regard to the current legal situation in the Member States.

Based on its survey amongst competent authorities and stakeholders, BiPRO has delivered the following report containing recommendations.

Commission services are currently assessing this report and are developing the proposals for the future Thematic Strategy on the Sustainable Use of Pesticides.
