The Green Spider Network (GSN) is an active network of communication and informationofficers from environment ministries and national environmental agencies in Europe. The network was established in 1995 and is supported by DG Environment of the European Commission. This website includes information about the network, its members and activities.

Objectives
The network aims to promote relations between the EU administration and national institutions and to provide a platform for the exchange of information and experience in the field of environmental communication.

Annual meetings
The network members meet once a year to exchange experience and ideas. At the annual meeting, the members also elect a core group to lead and make collective decisions on behalf of the network.
