Best practice library
Sharing best practice is one of the main objectives of the Green Spider Network. As described on this page, various initiatives are taken to support this goal, and examples of good environmental communication are collected in the GSN Best Practice Library.
Annual best practice competition
In 2006, the network initiated an annual best practice competition. All members are invited to present their best examples of environmental communication and the winner receives the "Communication Initiative of the Year Award. Read more about the competition in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
EU presidency communications
During an EU presidency, national environmental authorities become involved in communicating their country's EU presidency initiatives. This has brought about an initiative for more systematic exchange of experience and best practice through the Green Spider Network. Since October 2007 a workshop on the topic is being held each year during the annual meeting. More information can be found in the corresponding minutes.

National Climate Change Campaigns and Surveys of Public Awareness on Climate Change
In line with the COP-15 in Copenhagen, GSN members contributed to a collection on data and actions on climate communication. This collective overview wants to show what the different member states are currently doing in terms of climate change campaigns and permit an exchange of good practices.
