Marine Biogeographic seminar
Dates: 13-15 November
Location: Mallorca, Spain
Following two preparatory meetings, the second marine Natura 2000 biogeographical seminar will take place from 13 to 15 November in La Palma, Mallorca, Spain. The marine seminars differ from the terrestrial biogeographical seminars, in that they include participants, talks and workshops covering all of the marine biogeographical regions (Baltic, North East Atlantic, Mediterranean, and the Black Sea).
The forthcoming second seminar will focus on three themes: setting of Conservation Objectives (which was an important theme of the inaugural marine seminar held in 2015 in France); developing Favourable Reference Values; and designing appropriate Conservation Measures.
